Practicing

Just practicing but using a large canvas to really express myself. Mom insists that my "worms" have at least eyes - if not eyes and mouths. Dad just thinks I am weird. What else is new?

My mom bought me Zentangle 1 - Basics for my birthday and I have been having fun. I have to admit I am not doing the exercises as they say, but using the practice tiles to have a little fun with new tangles for me. Here are a few so far.

Various Pencils

I was looking through some old pictures and found some pencil renderings that I had previously done. I love black and white photos and love to do pencil drawings of photos I find in magazines and print ads. The one of the Hmong leader(young & older) was done as part of a memorial for him when he died for some friends of mine. The one of Lenin was from a Rolling Stone article.
